05 May Join MAPS Running/Walking Team to Support Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF)

Type-1 diabetes, otherwise known as Juvenile Diabetes, is a chronic life-threatening autoimmune disease that is currently does not have a cure. It does not differentiate between race, color, religions, ethnic backrounds, and it affects over 1.25 million Americans.
A few of us in the MAPS community are signing up to run, walk, and donate to the Nordstrom JDRF “Beat The Bridge” Race on May 15, 2016.
You don’t have to be a runner to participate and you don’t have to be rich to donate. You just have to decide to join in and show our broader community that Muslims in Puget Sound are a contributing member of the society on causes that matter to all of us.
Please join the team or donate to the team by signing up here.
No distance is too short and no amount is too little. Please encourage us by joining and donating on behalf of the MAPS Running/Walking team.
Thank you and hope to see you on May 15th.
