Coding in Scratch for kids & adults
This is going to be a special meetup, high school students are going to talk about Scratch platform and show coding in Scratch.
This meetup will give an overview of Scratch platform, creating programming projects and hardware interactions using Scratch modules.
The ability to code computer programs is an important part of literacy in today’s society. When people learn to code in Scratch, they learn important strategies for solving problems, designing projects, and communicating ideas.
Who can attend?
* Kids ages 7 and above
Try to attend even if you don’t have kids, this is an interesting talk to know how programming is made easy for all ages.
Each kid will be considered as one attendee, please include them when you RSVP. It will help us to provide a correct number of tables & chairs.
* Rifat Rashid, high school student at Tesla Stem.
Rifat is a regular participant at coding competitions, hackathons and also owns an app in Android store.
* We may have another high school student as a speaker, waiting on confirmation.
