MAPS-MCRC Funeral Services
MAPS-MCRC provides Islamic funeral assistance. We are blessed to have an on-site ghusul facility for the ritual of washing and shrouding of the body of a deceased person before burial. This facility is available for use by Muslims in the Greater Seattle area who wish to perform the ghusul.
We know that families often do not know where to find help when a loved one passes away. MAPS-MCRC’s volunteers coordinate a range of services that cover everything from the moment of death all the way to the burial.
The services provided by MAPS-MCRC are on a voluntary-basis, except for the cost of transport, funeral home charges, and burial costs, which are paid directly by the family to the funeral home or cemetery. In cases where families are unable to afford the transport services or burial plots, we also cover the cost of these services.
